Mount Olive Police New Jersey
Stephen Beecher - Chief of Police

Located in northwestern Morris County New Jersey, the Township of Mount Olive is a rapidly growing community of over 28,000 people. The Township covers 32 square miles and is home to Budd Lake, the largest natural lake in the state. The Township is crossed by Interstate 80, Routes 206 and 46. The Police Department, established in 1929, currently has 49 sworn officers supported by a staff of civilian personnel and dispatchers.

Vigil

On December 6, 2017 at 5:00 PM in Trenton, Governor Chris Christie will be holding his "2nd Annual Candlelight Vigil" and requests that you join him to show your support for everyone that has and is suffering because of the disease of addiction.

The Governor has stood with community leaders, organizations, families, and friends in support those that have been impacted by this insidious disease. Help bring addiction out of the shadows and into the light by standing with us on December 6th to help end the stigma while lighting a candle for loved ones lost.

Letís spread the word about Governor Christieís 2nd Annual Candlelight Vigil. Share this event with others using #IllBeThereWillYou on social media and visiting www.nj.gov/governor/vigil2017



The Northwest Community Action Program, known by the acronym NORWESCAP, has been serving the Northwestern part of New Jersey for over 50 years. The Skylands RSVP program of NORWESCAP provides free services to those over 60 years of age. To learn about some of their programs, click here.

08/28/17- Traffic Advisory- Flanders Drakestown Road will be closed from the intersection with Wolfe Road to River Road beginning this Wednesday, August 23rd. Persons traveling this roadway should plan on an alternate route and allow for extra time getting to their destinations.
