Located in northwestern Morris County New Jersey, the Township of Mount Olive is a rapidly growing community of over 28,000 people. The Township covers 32 square miles and is home to Budd Lake, the largest natural lake in the state. The Township is crossed by Interstate 80, Routes 206 and 46. The Police Department, established in 1929, currently has 49 sworn officers supported by a staff of civilian personnel and dispatchers.

08/28/17- Traffic Advisory- Flanders Drakestown Road will be closed from the intersection with Wolfe Road to River Road beginning this Wednesday, August 23rd. Persons traveling this roadway should plan on an alternate route and allow for extra time getting to their destinations.
